I began my career in the dental field in 2001 after taking dental assisting classes from DATS. I started working right after finishing and immediately began expanded functions training, I took the x-ray certification exam in 2002. I worked with Dr. Davidson when she graduated from IUSD as an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) giving me the opportunity to place restorations. I began working in this office in 2007 as front office administration and am now the Office Manager/New Patient Coordinator.
I love my career because I love creating beautiful smiles and making people feel like they are welcome. I started my dental career after finishing school at Ball State University. My grandmother was one of the first Certified Dental Assistants in the state, I suppose I was destined to go into the field. It feels good at the end of the day to know that you helped make someones life a bit more healthy and to know that you have made patients feel at home in their dental office.
I spend my time off enjoying the company of my husband-Justin and my two children-Kingston and Hayden.
